Launch of Rupay ATM cum Debit Card, Web site, Internet Banking and Mobile Banking on 28th Nov. 2014 by, Hon'ble Chief Minister Of Mizoram Pu Lal Thanhawla



To overcome problems faced by people not knowing a bit of English, the Mizoram Co-operative Apex Bank Has introduced ATM bilingual screen that displays instructions in Mizo language. Along with this, the Apex Bank has also introduced Rupay debit card, new website and internet and mobile banking to its customers, which were launched by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Pu Lal Thanhawla during a special ceremony at Hotel Regency on Friday the 28/11/2014 afternoon. Pu Lal Thanhawla said since the Apex Bank is the bank of the people of Mizoram, the Mizoram government would continue to give special attention.
At present, the Apex Bank has 13 branches and 166 staff. It has a credit-deposit ratio of 67.80 per cent, the highest among banks in Mizoram as on March 31, 2014. It has given loans for Agriculture allied, small Business, personal loan etc.etc as well as construction of 2,000 churches across Mizoram.

The Programme was chaired by the chairperson MCAB Ltd. Pi T. Lalmuanpuii Detailed Technology report was given by Pu A. Lallungmuana AGM /IT and Vote for Thanks was given by Pu Lalzuahliana CEO
